Starbucks is a good first time job for teens, people in school, or those that want flexibility

Pros

Meet people your own age, flexibility, not that hard, has tips, can request off time for personal needs and can switch shifts with others easily. Free drinks while working, every month get vacation time, can have benefits even if part time.

Cons

Standing for long hours, not getting recognition for doing a good job, if you are sick, you can't really call out because they schedule the minimum amount of people needed, management not really helpful.

Pros

Benefits package its a really easy and laid back place to work if you work in the right area. Lately they have been really cutting down in terms of hours then they go out and buy a $45 million dollar gulfstrem jet so CEO howard schultz and take his family to hawaii for the holidays.

Cons

Policies are geared to the customer a little too much and the customers now know they can get away with pretty much anything and that makes it difficult sometimes.

Pros

The connections you make with both partners and customers will last forever. I enjoy learning from my peers and superiors about their work experiences. Free coffee while working is a plus. The benefits are wonderful, I have peace of mind knowing that my health is taken care of. I enjoy being able to teach my direct reports about the business and watching them grow to make their own decisions.

Cons

There is a lot of tasks to comlplete with limited time to comlplete it in. Sometimes cusomers take their personal problems out on the innocent barista behind the counter.
