Pros

There's a good work/life balance, and some really great people (for now).

Cons

There have been a lot of top down decisions, and communication has ranged from appalling to non-existent. Throughout the merger management has fostered resentment between ex-Springer and ex-Macmillan teams by pitting technologies against each other, rather than working together to come up with reasonable solutions. Unrealistic deadlines have been imposed (again, from on high) which will likely result in a degraded experience for our end users.
