Pros

Some geuninely decent, hard-working and talented colleagues when I was there. Nice London offices in Kings Cross.

Cons

I am convinced that a lot of the "great" reviews of this company on here are fabricated by senior management to try to make the company seem better/more appealing than it actually is. It certainly wasn't my experience of the dump when I was there. Egotistic , unscrupulous, macho bullying management from the very top right the way down. Uncompetitive pay for the role/marketplace and very limited actual benefits. No career growth due to favouritism and cliquey management. Layers upon layers of managerial deadwood coasting their way through the company because they would either be unemployable elsewhere or they are desperately trying to see out the twilight of the careers into retirement. OR - they are hoping to profit from the company's ultimate goal of IPO. Very poor decision making and shiny-object syndrome. The saying “poop rises to the top” certainly holds true at this place. It’s tough enough for females working within the Technology sector but this place actually made me regret my career choice. HR - utterly useless corporate puppets. Don't even waste your time trying to get any support from them. Platitudes about diversity and inclusion should be treated with absolute sceptism. My advice to any potential applicants - avoid at all costs if only for the sake of your sanity and sense of self-worth.

SN pushing staff to burnout

Business Outlook

Pros

Supportive colleagues Allowed staff to WFH early in the pandemic

Cons

Upper management have totally lost touch with their staff. The targets are set too high and are unachievable. Those that leave are not being replaced quickly enough, leaving remaining staff burnt out. Staff do not feel listened too.
