Thank you. We are a global and progressive business, founded on a heritage of trusted and respected brands – including Springer, founded in 1842, Macmillan, founded in 1843 and Nature, first published in 1869. Nearly two centuries of progress and advancement in science and education have helped shape the business we are today and given us focus. At Springer Nature, diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of how we work and who we are. Working towards a more inclusive workplace creates opportunities and allows our people to perform at their best. We also want our people to feel empowered to generate ideas and see progress on topics that matter to them and the organisation, to improve our workplace for the benefit of us all.

Pros

Lots of camaraderie across many teams Good holiday benifits Plenty of carrer opportunities and development if your happy with a “squiggly” path Strong DEI programme

Cons

All targets put on journal or operation teams with little resource added and responsibility all falls to you but Cross functional teams add to your own workload (even tho they are meant to help) but they seem to have all resource needs they want - the balance seems very off. Constantly reorganising every 2-3 years it feels like

Springer Nature works closely with a large global community of academic researchers and educators who, through their work, want to leave the world better than they found it, to solve problems and to disseminate their ideas. We work to reduce our environmental footprint, to promote an inclusive environment rich in diversity and to forge links with the communities we serve. Open access and the digital landscape have created a need to change and adapt so we can ensure we have the right teams, the right structure and the right people to lead our efforts to deliver against our strategy.
