At Springer Nature, we are committed to complying with all laws and regulations and conducting our operations ethically and honestly. To help support our high standards, we have processes for staff, business partners and all third-parties to ask questions or to raise concerns about how Springer Nature is operating. One of these processes is the Speak Up System. The Speak Up system is provided by a third party company, and permits anyone to make a report securely and, if they wish, anonymously. Reports can be submitted in any language and no IP addresses are collected when using the system. Anyone who, in good faith, raises a question or reports a concern is following our Code of Conduct and is doing the right thing. No one who raises a question or makes a report - whether in writing, in person or online – may be retaliated against by anyone in Springer Nature for doing so. Retaliation in any form will not be tolerated.
