Pros

I really appreciate the hybrid working policy the company has and the fact that I have been able to progress in my career at the company. We constantly have events in our office that bring colleagues together, making it a very vibrant office and there are lots of learning and development opportunities.

Cons

Lack of salary transparency isnt great. The pay is okay, but I dont think theyve done a great job with salary benchmarking for those roles within the Group Functions side of the business.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Springer Nature is truly a people business and our purpose and work everyday touches millions of people. Our fantastic colleagues who are dedicated, passionate as well as highly trained lie at the core of our culture. The hybrid and workation policies are popular and we want our colleagues to benefit from a strong work life balance. We do continue to look to review and benchmark our salaries in line with our competitors. Thank you again.

Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear your feedback as we're very proud that our company is made up of dedicated, curious, passionate and highly trained people. Without them, we simply wouldn't be able to deliver on our overall business mission to help solve the world's greatest challenges. We asked our people what's important to them about the work they do and why they enjoy working for us. This led to some great ideas and outputs that we implemented globally.

Pros

A well-known name that was useful when moving on.

Cons

Not very diverse in age at certain levels, this limited ideas and progress overall. No foreseeable career progress unless you're also middle-aged.

Thank you for sharing your view. Interested to read your comment about diversity. We have actually made very good progress in terms of gender diverity and our management board is now 50% women; we're on track with our global OKR's to meet our 2025 goals for representation. We asked our people whats improtant to them and acted on this by creating our first employer brand ' Be Part of Progress '. We created a global career hub for colleagues which is a one stop shop for advice and guidance on career development and how to take ownership of your career with your manager's support. At our core lies our support for the people in our research & education communities - the bridge builders of human understanding. We know we have the ability to positively impact the world around us with the content we publish and we are proud to highlight this. We are working on offering support to all our hiring managers so colleagues are offered space to develop and everything else that they need to be themselves and perform at their best.
