Pros

Free food, some parties. Good colleagues to work with (many leaving).

Cons

Horrible managers, do a bad job and pretend everything good, people leave but they do the same. Many new reviews here are obviously copy and pasted from HR advertisements, probably by the managers. They lie about projects, salaries and anything that will help them but will not improve. I joined this website because a friend showed me the reviews and I could not believe what they were writing.

Pros

High chance of career growth, you will meet a lot talented individuals. The office being in Barcelona gives you high chances of finding a better job after some months working in Social Point and realizing how poor the current state of the company is.

Cons

Poor management. Poor HR. Poor direction. Most project owners have little to no idea of the game industry, and just try to mimic what good devs do e.g. "Oh, Supercell did this? Let's copy them". This is verified by the fact that in so many years Social Point only succesful projects have been copies from other games. But yet, even having such a large R&D department, they have not successfully launched a single title Even though the company tries to promote they are a "flat structure" without management, where all individual are equal game makers... False. In many years of experience, one of the most hierarchical companies you could find. Many "Leads" or managers have genuinely 0 leadership and management skills. They just got promoted to that role as a way from Social Point to keep them in the company by giving them a higher status and higher salary. But they lack those skills. And for more, just check more "cons" from many other reviews. Avoid those reviews that look "Good" saying everything is awesome etc... because they are done by HR. Hell, the culture of the company is so bad there is even a facebook group literally insulting the ceo's and management
