      Pros

      People and culture is the best. Work/life balance is encouraged.

      Cons

      Massive codebase and with complexity but will be provided with buddy to help you start your development journey on the team.

      Pros

      SiteMinder is a great company with a humble founder and a good product. Most of the executive team are genuinely world class and really approachable. My personal experience was that it wasn't very political.

      Cons

      Your experience is really location and team dependent. It's much better to be at head office than in the regional offices. Still - be aware that career wise you have to fight for everything, especially promotions and pay. Doesn't matter how good you are, don't expect to be rewarded if you don't ask for it loudly. Finally - not many reviews talking about equity here because despite being a "start up" - the equity is essentially worthless. You lose it all if you leave no matter how long you've been here.
