Pros

Great products today and still with so much potential. Products are highly regarded in the industry. Really fun and clever people to vibe and work with. Big enough company that there are processes, but small enough to be flexible. Ability to be a mobile worker, few days from home and few in the office, nice blend. Management is approachable, gives good guidance and applies the correct amount of pressure/urgency. If you are the type of person who loves to get your hands dirty, own something, drive it through to completion and be willing to learn then you will fit right in here!

Cons

Like any product driven company prioritisation happens, sometimes things get stopped or delayed. But on the whole SiteMinder releases a lot of stuff!

Beer on fridays, coffee machine

Crap people to work with, slave labor when it comes to productivity demands and sales.

Thank you for your review, we are not sure of the date of the review and when you actually worked with SiteMinder given you mentioned beer on Fridays as a perk, and this has not been in place within SiteMinder since pre COVID 2020. We do read all our reviews and wanted to reach out to you. It is clear that you may have left SiteMinder some time ago and it appears that you also worked with us for a very short time. We are sorry the experience didn’t appear to leave you with the best impression. However, our SiteMinder teams across Sales in fact work incredibly hard for our customers ensuring that we support their needs through consultative selling addressing their hospitality needs and we ensure that our customers are given a full demonstration of the product setas part of our onboarding process. We also have a wonderful Customer Support team dedicated to ensuring our customers are always fully supported. You have mentioned some negative thoughts around our software offering, however we at SiteMinder are incredibly proud of our Software service which we have seen win an amazing nine accolades from Hotel Tech Awards at the start of 2023, including winning awards for the Best Hotel eCommerce Platform, The Number One Hotelier’s Choice Award, the Best Channel Manager and the Best Booking Engine. Okay Company to Work for

Pros

They care about their employees and the well being of each one. The pay is also good for entry level sales.

Cons

They don't listen well to request from employees. The upper management makes all the decisions without taking ideas from lower level employees. For an established company they still have a lot of sectors of the company that need improvement.

Its wonderful to read that some of the best parts of working with SiteMinder are great pay and a caring environment for all employees as this is exactly what we strive for. Thank you so much for the constructive parts of your feedback as well! As you will know since moving into the role of VP, our Sales reps have a weekly sales team meeting with myself where we have an open forum to ask questions or give feedback. This has resulted in the implementation of local changes in our sales org: changes to sales enablement material, territory/account modifications, roll out of incentives and more social events locally like happy hour! We have an open feedback culture through our culture app, OfficeVibe and our AMERs Managers (including myself!) regularly respond to feedback this way, so please do flag the requests you have !We also run through Officevibe comments with managers with the goal of identifying action items.
