Great company, poor culture

Great, hard working staff..... I made lots of good friends. Management is sometimes good. Good office location.

Cons

Poor decisions in relation to letting staff go and internal promotions. There were lots of people that left purely because of poor managers, and inability to make a solid impact on the product. The workplace culture has been going downhill for a while, and has become somewhat toxic.

Great Culture. Great location, Great team environment. SiteMinder offers an excellent solution for accommodation providers. The product is well designed and well thought out. Sales Managers have your well being at utmost importance allowing for a good work/life balance. As the strongest player in the market, selling SiteMinder services are enjoyable. There are many product developments happening which will assist in the sell and penetrating deeper into the market.

Cons

Australian market is becoming saturated making for less selling opportunities. There is no foreseeable career progression. The company needs to invest in more employee skill development. Internal politics are making the workplace noticeably more uncomfortable. Commission pay outs have to go through far too many hoops before they are finally received. It really limits your true earning potential.
