      The company is OK but the Management team - Not So Much

      Pros

      The benefits is good, salary base is good, working environment, the office is good. Facilities are also good. This is meant for Signify Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

      Cons

      Majority of the management are not people friendly. They are not people's managers. It's company policies first before everything else. The internal politics is horrendous. Don't expect any empathy. And majority does not walk the talk. It's management talk all the way, but not solid action and no results as well. Communications are all TOP to Bottom, employee words are NOT heard. Few repeating issues highlighted but no solutions, all sweep under the carpet. Young managers are not a good listeners, when employee is having issue with their task, no helping hand given. Young managers failed to guide the team properly. And failed to project transparency. This is meant for Signify Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

      Worth place I ever worked

      Pros

      After the splitting from Royal Philips, Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) had an opportunity to move alone on a fast pace of innovation, specially in the view of IoT. But reality was different

      Cons

      Old school researchers and incompetent management. They had no idea of what to do and what research and innovation means. Impression was that Royal Philips took out the worst employees. In a following restructuring the majority of them was laid off indeed.
