Wide range of engineering activities Potential for movement to different parts of the company, country and world Decent pay, good 401k match, okay medical (HDHP)/dental/vision Work from home option Talented and passionate coworkers

Cons

Outsource most parts to barely qualified vendors with little to no "on-site" inspection Painted Post facility workforce is inexperienced and slow with few items produced there Management goals do not seem aligned with customer needs Constant change in work flow, IT, management and vendors. Some changes seem to be on a whim.

above average (not great) benefits flexibility on in-person / work from home mix (2-3 d in person required) long established company, so possible to remain here for entire career

Cons

executive management does not value the contributions of individual employees, ignoring experience, moving people around and demoting them in the interest of share price. no real long term career perspective for professionals outside of headquarters. salary progressions do not keep up with cost of living, so negotiate HARD for your starting salary. You will likely be stuck progressing from that $ for many years to come.
