Pros

ServiceNow is in an outstanding position to get its software platform used practically everywhere, dramatically increasing our value. Our founder is still here and is actively contributing to the code base in ways that get thunderous applause in keynotes. Customers are truly jazzed about us. Even if they encounter problems, it is usually a very supporting partnership getting them through those problems. Not antagonistic. They love using our software and keep finding ways to use the platform in other parts of their business once we get a "foot in the door".

Cons

With the recent avalanche of hiring as we grow, it is easy to lose sight of a common goal. An increasing number of locations makes the organization feel disjointed at times, with the impression that everyone isn't always moving in the same direction. No 401k matching...yet!

Pros

Good benefits, nice location, flexible work schedule

Cons

It is a shame that founder Fred Luddy and the board hired in Frank Slootman to run the company. He and his EMC cronies have no long term goals for the company only short term at the expense of all of the hard working employees. It is an atrocity how they treat employees, allowing senior management to pick others to take their falls and firing without any warning. HR is nonexistent and not there for employee support but to carry out the will and whims of the executive team. Backstabbing is rampant among senior executives which trickles down.

Pros

Its SaaS platform product is one of the best on the market, it is built on modern technology and very intuitive, qualities that make it fairly easy to sell. The growth of the company is unprecedented.

Cons

Management is extremely heavy and US centric which makes its European presence quite difficult. The company is painfully bureaucratic, particularly on the sales / services operations and finance side. The Services organisation has lost the right balance between customer satisfaction and profitability.
