Pros

Colleagues are nice. Hybrid working policy is fairly generous compared to the other big 5 academic publishers

Cons

Work culture feels sickly sweet. They claim to care about employees' mental health yet overwork everyone. Also feels like they're slowly trying to get rid of junior staff members or outsource their work.

Pros

Sage has provided space for me to grow during my career and gets a good balance of support and challenge. There are great opportunities for interesting work that has a real impact on our communities and stakeholders.

Cons

There is some pain right now as there has been a shift in placing greater expectations on colleagues to take accountability and deliver results. This is not for everyone.
