Pros

Flexible schedule, option to work from home, traces of the original Timberline culture still occasionally encountered. Average benefits. Average compensation.

Cons

Company reduces employee benefits every couple is years. Management ideology does not match situation on the ground. Very structured with little room for creative movement. (Even the height of every desk in the building is mandated by a company policy.)

Pros

- Good work/life balance - Some brilliant hard working colleagues

Cons

After Covid, Sage demonstrated the art of the possible, where work was a job not a place. I used to be a valued colleague now I'm just a number. A high performance culture "strategy" underpinned with what? Average leadership training, hiring freezes, redundancies and poor pay - translating to a work hard for less reward culture. Let's top off an already low morale with a 3 mandate back to office, that will be managed through formal process... where is the trust in your colleagues and leadership to get the job done! STOP investing money into offices that you perceive to be market leading... they're not. Sage's offices are buildings with desks... news flash so is my house! Do we have a creche for working parents? Or do you provide free meals for employees in offices like Google do? If you're return to office mandate was underpinned with actions that supported working parents, or colleagues who were struggling with the cost of living … then maybe we'd all be running back! Alas Sage's ELT proves once again that they are so wildly out of touch with the reality of working peoples lives. We used to have an amazing inclusive culture but let's be honest, those days are long gone!
