Thanks for your feedback. Having just watched our CEO's message for the new fiscal year, Stephen Kelly thanked us for the recent feedback we gave through the colleague survey. We made it clear we want greater clarity on delivery and how each of us can make a difference. Also, our new interim CPO, Amanda Cusdin said last week that she wants to ensure employee engagement is top of her list. The new fiscal year starts off with kick-offs at each and every Sage office (this is happening right now). Between our CEO, Stephen Kelly and our President, Blair Crump, every colleague will understand what the VSGM is (vision, strategy, goals & metrics). Last year was the year of the business builder and FY18 is the year of business cloud, with simplification and customer obsession at the heart of everything we do. Through colleague goals, everyone will understand how they will make a difference and help deliver our vision. There's so much learning & development for all colleagues - from the Leading@Sage programme for all people leaders - there's also Linda.com. This is a vast library of engaging video tutorials to meet professional and personal development goals. Colleague can access these courses - even outside of working hours--it's available to colleagues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any device. With Lynda, our people can •Track their learning •Save and prioritise courses •Set their own pace •Access courses in English, French, German, or Spanish - this is how determined we are to ensure our colleagues flourish and build a great career.

Thanks for your review. Great to hear you had a positive work life balance when you were at Sage and you enjoyed our benefits - which isn't surprising as this year we won an award "Most engaging benefits proposition". We take comments about bullying seriously and have internal systems/processes in place to deal with any such instances. Our transition to One Sage has been an important change for us and we are seeing the benefits of the changes. We have learnt important lessons along the way too. Change can be uncomfortable for some people, which we understand, and we do all we can to support our people through the necessary transformation. Thanks again for your review.

Company rips off their customers

Pros

LOL - that is HILARIOUS!!! THERE ARE NONE!

Cons

Management is disjointed. They have no care for their employees or their customers. They take innocent business owners, who have been in business for 20+ years and force them on a subscription plan that makes no sense for their business. Sage 50C Pro accounting is $439+ per year and will suffice for most businesses, but is too expensive for what the product is. Instead of this being allowed to do the right thing by the customers, which is part of their own Guiding Principles, we are told to take those innocent customers from Sage 50C Pro accounting and are forced to transition them to Sage 50C Quantum accounting, which starting out is $1149+. It is also a subscription, which means if they opt out the following year, their files go into a read only mode. Sage also forces us to add $200 for "priority support, $150 for Microsoft integration, $199 for comprehensive training, and and tack on additional licenses. It is all about how much money they can drain out of these customers instead of making opportunities to help those businesses grow. It is disgusting.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. As a former colleague, you are aware of the many avenues such as SafeCall and our open door policy available to you at Sage, and are encouraged and empowered to speak out if you see something that doesn’t align with our “do the right thing” value. Our colleagues and customers are our most valuable resource, and their voices matter. Our priority is always to support the best interests of our colleagues and customers. Our customers are the business builders of the world, the ones who work tirelessly to create their companies from start-up, to high growth, and everything in between. We want to support them and their dreams. One of the ways we do this is to provide a variety of product choices to fit their individual needs. In fact, one of our biggest goals is to be a trusted advisor and partner to business builders, and be there to help guide and lend support as their businesses change. To reinforce our commitment, one of our values is “customers first”. It’s not just what we say, it is who we are, and our thousands of colleagues around the world live that promise every day.
