Pros

Manchester has a fantastic vibe. The XD community really does pull together to collaborate and get projects done.

Cons

Travel costs mount up with the increase to 3 days in the office. Office is a shoe box and probably the shabbiest one out of all the locations.

Thank you for your balanced review. It’s great to hear your positive experience working from the Manchester office and the XD team. At the same time, we understand your concerns. Please consider raising these thoughts with your manager and wider team too, for their support, particularly around career development and with the technical resources needed to do your job well. Thank you for your contribution to the growth of Sage.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear that you’ve had strong opportunities to learn quickly, work with great people, and feel proud of what you’re building. At Sage, high performance is rooted in supporting one another to be the best versions of ourselves and to do our best work. This means creating a psychologically safe environment where colleagues are encouraged to learn quickly, fail forward, and grow—while also being held accountable for their work. That accountability is supported by strong feedback and performance recognition, designed to empower colleagues rather than overwhelm or slow them down. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to speak with your manager about the pressures you're feeling in your role. They're best placed to provide the support you need to help you perform at your best. We’re committed to winning together—as one community of talented people who look out for each other, push ourselves to improve, and deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers and all stakeholders. We wish you all the best as you continue to grow and thrive with us!

Pros

Growth mindset and learning philosophy sets the stage at Sage. The leadership has zero tolerance for toxic people, or a toxic culture. All those people have been removed which has been a breath of fresh air. Great investments are being made in learning and development, making people feel empowered and celebrating success and learning from failures. Overall, great culture and glad i came.

Cons

Work from the office 3 days a week can be a grind with the 2 hour commute each way, but the teams have fun together.
