Pros

I have honestly never worked for a company that valued their employees as much as Sage has! Between offering great healthcare benefits, vision, PTO, charity days, etc. it really makes a great working environment for all employees. I was offered a reasonable compensation package based on just graduating from college last year. I would recommend anyone to work for this company.

Cons

I have been with this company since last October (2015) and have no complaints as of yet.

Pros

Very good work life balance and health benefit incentives.

Cons

No longer values their most valuable employees. Announce layoffs then new president assures employees of no office closures...then closes office in Pittsburgh. Morale is low and getting worst. Cannot trust upper management. Those left behind are being asked to work harder and for what? To eventually lose their jobs. Group CFO announces he doesn't have to be liked or make popular decision...it's about being competitive amongst each other. It's a CYA world and encouraged to watch out for yourself. Pay is not competitive and PTO policy is bad. It's no longer about being the best place to work, but being like other sub par companies. Sage is a follower, not a leader!

We are disappointed to hear you have a negative opinion of Sage. As a former colleague of more than five years, we are sure you have witnessed various changes at Sage – some that bring great positive effects and others that create learning opportunities. Our strategic growth plan is designed to create opportunities for our colleagues as well as our customers. Contrary to what is cited in this post, we moved the vast majority of the Pittsburgh population to remote work arrangements in order to retain critical talent and ensure our customer and partner needs continue to be serviced. We are confident that our long-term approach will deliver positive results for everyone involved. Through it all, we respect your opinion, and we welcome the opportunity to address your concerns further. Please reach out and provide additional specifics by contacting glassdoor@sage.com. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
