Thanks for taking time to write your review. As a current colleague, you are aware we are undertaking a period of organisational change to make us stronger, better and more customer focused than ever before. We are right at the start of our journey, it can take time for these changes to bed down and become part of everyday working life at Sage. As we continue to perform and transform we’ll continue to innovate and deliver great cloud-based products for our customers. For example, recent announcements show our commitment to this – our partnership with Fairsail to integrate finance and HCM within X3. Also the announcement of our free app for iPhone and iPad which simplifies expense management. As Stephen Kelly recently said “we have been recognised by top application developers who have said our technology is incredible and a real game charger.” Thanks for taking time to write your review, if you’d like to discuss this further, please contact us at Glassdoor@sage.com

A good fixer upper opportunity

Pros

Strong product foundation. Very nice people and a willingness to do good.

Cons

Senior Management in NA are accountants and not business developers. Mindset is on cost management not growth. Most siloed company I've ever been with. Ready shoot, clean up on aisle three. Top heavy and bottom heavy. Terrible HR department. No one ends up doing the job they were hired to do. Have gutted mid-level director and senior director jobs so VPs become micro managers and managers are spread much to thin.

Cons

upper management doesn't know their left hand from the right. More layoffs are happening every year.
