Pros

None that I can think of genuinely. I don't have good memories of my time there. A few great people but these are leaving

Cons

I was a recent hire to Sage. When I was recruited I was sold something that was so far away from reality. I knew in my first month that things would not work out but I stuck it out to give it a chance. Now I wish I hadn't because it was time I will never get back. Whatever you do ask questions before accepting a role there. Make sure to ask to speak to a team member so you can find out the truth and see the level of unhappiness in the teams. You will be sold a company that is transforming when in reality a lot of poor leaders are papering over the cracks of the past with bad decisions and short term bets that will have little impact in that effort for transformation. The only thing you can learn is from the mistakes you made by not asking the important questions before you sign your contract

Thanks for your review. Sorry things didn't work out for you, which is a shame. Sometimes, companies and individuals aren't right for each other, and alas it sounds like this was one of those cases. Our people are amazing and looking on social media you can see so much love and enthusiasm our people have for Sage during the FY18 kick-offs. We wish you every success with your career.

Pros

Good vacation allowance, (though its added in with sick time).

Cons

Management is not trained as to how to manage effectively. They believe that bullying will provide results.

Unethical behaviour is not tolerated at Sage as detailed in our Code of Conduct, and all colleagues at Sage have access to the free and confidential ‘Safecall’ line in the event you wish to draw attention to any wrongdoing. The new Leadership@Sage programme is for our people managers - we know that what they do every day has an impact on all of us….our colleagues, our brand and of course our business performance. Our leaders are responsible for creating a great place to work, a place where we attract and retain the best colleagues. A place where colleagues love coming to work and want to shout/talk about Sage. As leaders they influence and shape that culture. A place where colleagues are committed to Sage - driving business performance and delighting our customers, the Business Builders. Leadership as we all should know, is not a set of HR processes – it is taking colleagues on a journey through their time at Sage, supporting, challenging and guiding them. So, the designers of our Leading@Sage programme aren't shy about the importance of this key piece of training & development - and we will all benefit. Thanks for your feedback and I wish you all the success with your career.

Pros

I really like their charity days scheme - everyone gets 5 days a year to spend time helping out with any given charity.

Cons

I have given the culture and values a 2 - in principal, they should be a 5, but I have seen no evidence that when it comes down to it, senior management follows these values.
