Pros

Large global company based out of Madrid. Reasonably well known. Apart from that there is not much good to say.

Cons

Management is disorganized and the HR department is very badly run. There does not appear to be a cohesive strategy to either advance the company or to retain people. Salaries are mediocre and work life balance is not very good.

Pros

Great salary and Job flexibility, I got to do almost whatever I wanted. Fun coworker atmosphere.

Cons

its the Spaniard inquisition, if you disagree, you are shown the door and replaced by another Sacyr employee imported from overseas. Spanish is now the main language at the office. The local leadership fights between doing things correctly and doing things the Sacyr (AKA Spainiard) way. Scheduling, safety, HR and finances are a joke, or outright hostile. No wonder there is extremely high turnover.

Pros

The team I worked with directly was talented and supportive. Good budget for hiring up, so be good at your initial salary negotiations.

Cons

Management made promises about salaries and promotions to my engineers and superintendents that never materialized. There was a general lack of transparency around decision-making, making it difficult to trust leadership. The workload was excessive, with long hours expected but not compensated fairly. There was little regard for employee well-being and burnout was common. Specially to younger guys. I witnessed/experienced demotions and microaggresions towards non-Spanish employees. This created a hostile work environment and limited opportunities for those who weren't part of that majority group.
