SDG Group is not a bad company. The issue is only in Portugal. I had the opportunity to work in other offices and I had a good experience there

Cons

Aggressive schedules with no work life balance. No respect for their employees. Sexist environment starting with the partner in Portugal. They try to stimulate a very toxic environment were there is no collaborative work and people are just in a constant competition with each other.

To be honest, my best time there was when I was leaving the company

The management is awful, trust on the reviews that says it, it's absolutely true. Environment works with high stress due to poor management, projects that would take 4 months to be implemented are sold to the customer as if they were going to take just 1 month, which leads to delay and pressure, as the fault for not delivering on time will be yours You work for much more than 8 hours a day and you don't receive anything for it, not even money or recognition, after all what matters is the project being delivered and if it is not delivered on time it is strictly your fault, there is a false aura that "your salary is above average", which is false, with what you end up doing you would have to receive much more. Last but not least, Jose Bagina is a toxic and narcisist boss. He does micromanagement and will make your life a hell, I think this is the only thing that he is actually good at. For your mental health, avoid this company.

- Great place to learn some cutting edge technologies with in the Data Analytics Space - Great place to meet some intelligent individuals that are willing to help in anyway possible - Great place to be given a chance to lead a project from early on in the career

Cons

- Salary is poor for the work you do - No work life balance, if working on a hectic project - Small company
