The lack of trust in employees is highlighted by the butt in the seat management style. The attitude creates a slow decision making process since so many levels need to opine on even the most immaterial decisions. There is no work from home policy if you are outside the archaic mileage requirement and even if you are, you get one day a week. There has not been one survey asking how the pandemic has impacted the jobs, lives, and well-being of employees and instead if you are medically unable or have extenuating circumstances, you are required to get doctor’s notes or outside proof you cannot be in the office to then be considered for an exception. If you have a differing opinion than management, you cannot challenge without career repercussions. Being a “yes” person is required to succeed.

Company used to value loyalty but longevity is no longer valued. Managers brought in from outside have completely demolished the family values that made the company special. Lack of direction -- do one thing today, do something else two weeks from now, and tell no one that things have changed.
