Amazing work-life balance

Pros

Great work campus life: on-site gym, beautiful surroundings, smart people, individual offices, great food, work is challenging, people dedicated to their work, collaboration is good with most teams, excellent benefits, products are great to work with, learn SAS programming.

Cons

Politics (like anywhere else); ship dates slip often; agile done for but not necessarily well, disorganization results in too much work; no one says "no" to projects, which increases work loads and timelines; people don't like to "hurt" feelings, so everything is "great" when it really isn't; sometimes the big man overrides the decisions.

Pros

Private company , beautiful landscape and buildings, nice benefits, fitness and health care centers. 35 he week, private office.

Cons

Not allowed to work remotely even though 100% set up to, although some will take advantage. No advancement opportunities. Varying work ethic across department.

Pros

The culture is great, and my teammates are eager to help me learn and to collaborate. Rather than people trying to tear each other down, we try to work together to accomplish a goal. If you have a question, you are not punished for wasting someone's time, like at other companies I've worked for in the past. Amazing benefits: On-site health center, pharmacy, gym, pool, and very big and walkable campus. Free dietitian consult and initial personal training consult. The food is subsidized and amazing. Lots of sports leagues and activities. I love having my own office. Very huge focus on work-life balance. The standard workweek is 35 hours (though this may vary with your individual role, especially if you are in a technical position, and you have deadlines, etc). Focus on educating the employee. So far, nobody has raised a red flag when I sign up for an internal course, as long as it is work related.

Cons

It is too early for me to see them, no company is perfect, so I'll let you know if I find one!
