Moving away from old patterns and behaviors is more difficult to the Management they ever realize. Intentions to pursue new business areas is hardly ever followed by full understanding of the area of opportunity and ability to allocate the necessary time to achieve the transformative result. Externally and internally perceived as an Organization focused on making the numbers at all costs, often damaging the relationships involved.

The tools are SAS owned, so you need to know the coding language or be quick into adapting. Plenty of improvements to be delivered in multiple functions

Cons

Management I believe is not the top. Often key VP or Director lack the technicals skills or knowledge to properly manage Data teams.

Competitive salary for juniors. The company didn't fire anyone during the crisis.

Cons

Poor career advancement. Organizational chaos without clear goals, a clear product path. Managers without expertise in communication, leadership, or product development. A lot of political decision-making. A lot of training about bias, a lot of big words around diversity, and then salary is based on the place you are living, so even they are shouting out people are at the first place, profit is at the first place, to be clear.
