      Good brand name is the only plus

      Micro management Noone from HO is interested in Pune office work. As a result local management is misusing the powers HR and senior management does not know how to accept and handle feedback, Very poor HR interested in everything else but Human resources Continuously tense environment due to bad management not due to work Favouritism - you need to be in the good books of senior management to get the recognition that you deserve Lack of good work opportunities resulting into people fighting to grab the good work Management does not walk the talk All the good stuff people read about SAS is not for Pune office it is for SAS Inc. NC USA

      Confusing direction, many coasting, lack of career growth and development. You can get stuck in one place for a long time.

      Pros

      SAS is a great place to work depending on your goals. If you want work/life balance it is excellent. If you want career growth, it is awful.

      Cons

      No career growth. No training beyond how to do SAS things better. Very slow pace of change, if you are a dynamic employee you will hate SAS. Lots of people in mgmt. based on years of service as opposed to talent and work ethic.
