Pros

This the seventh startup I've worked for, and the leadership team is the most thoughtful and clear-minded that I've worked for yet. They have a high level of integrity, and genuinely attempt to live the company's core values. Also, the office is pretty chill...I think this is because of all the dogs in the office. It's just really hard for people to lose their cool with these adorable creatures around!

Cons

Rover is growing fast -- the business is growing and the number of people are growing. If you're a person who is uncomfortable with rapid change, you would probably not enjoy working here.

Pros

- Dog benefits like a bonus toward getting your first dog, really dog friendly office, dog vacation to match your vacation time. - Healthcare, retirement, vision, and dental benefits too. - Everyone in the company is passionate about what they do. - Seriously overhauling what the other review cited, where ideas are brainstormed and then nothing happens. You can propose a project and end up implementing it within the next week or two. - Heavily metrics driven. Embrace successful tactics, improve or discard unsuccessful ones. - Every employee knows how the company is doing. - Upper management is invested in how everyone else at the company is doing. - Seeing amazing growth in investment, users, and income - Looking to increase the size of the development team so they can implement changes even faster. Heavy investment in the site. Did I mention puppies?

Cons

- Startup atmosphere can mean you over-invest your time. It's very easy to decide to work from home during the evening, even if it's just checking emails. This is not encouraged by anybody, but does seem to be widely embraced. - Navigating the growth from startup to more corporate structure in terms of project implementation, budgeting, etc. The culture is still casual and fun, they are just growing into having more set processes. If handled well, it will be fine.
