      Pros

      Wonderfully passionate people. Very good medical benefits. Very well appointed office spaces.

      Cons

      This is a stepping stone job. The culture here, communicated mainly via executives and supported by HR, is that you as an individual do NOT have anything to contribute to Rocket. The gift of your paycheck is to shut-up and do as you are told. Ideas are not welcome here. There are no product maps... no strategic plans... no aspirational goals. There is nothing on paper that employees can look to in Rocket's future to make them invest in themselves or in their own career.

      Pros

      Rocket has some great employees doing great work. They are a fun team to work with and get things done. I will miss this aspect when i leave

      Cons

      Salary is (well) below market rate. Once you are in Rocket there are no payrises. This is something the CEO seems proud of. HR is of the nature 'The problem is with you, not us'. This gets tiring Outlook is grim. Sales declining. No sensible plan to reverse this

      Pros

      Rocket has some great people working for them. They have acquired several software companies over the past 10 years that have brought in some very good talent. Rocket has a great benefit package and the CEO seems to truly care about the employees.

      Cons

      After Rocket acquires a company, they allow the existing management of the acquired company to continue "business as usual". There seems to be no review of said managers skills - whether good or bad - and when there is a bad manager and his/her behavior is brought to the attention of upper management - they do nothing about it. Sales numbers and moral goes down and then they start firing sales people as if it was their fault.
