Pros

Good training in place More or less a fool proof system to be successful and make placements Due to the size of the business a lot of opportunity to move upwards in the business.

Cons

Mechanical, by-the-book approach to everything Very KPI driven, even with older and more experienced consultants who know what they're doing little room for proactivity or creativity

Thank you for getting in touch. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and we take all employee feedback very seriously. It’s great to hear your positive comments around our training - we aim to provide the best training in the industry and it’s something that we’re known for. There is a focus on KPIs as it’s important in a sales based business. However, while there are KPIs in place we do also work on a team project share basis. This means that everyone is encouraged to work together and that helps to take a lot of pressure of individual consultants - we feel that this makes us different to a lot of competitors. We believe that people should come before process and we’re sorry if that wasn’t your experience. We’re always keen to hear employee feedback so if you would like to get in touch, please feel free to email me: Ingrid, Group HR Director at contact@robertwalters.com.

Pros

A great company to join when looking for a role straight out of uni. Training is absolutely superb & plenty going on socially.

Cons

A bit too KPI focussed. Some rather inflated egos too.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. We’re very pleased to hear your positive comments around our training and that you enjoyed the social side of the business. We strive to provide the best training in the industry, and it’s something we’re known for, so it’s great that you’ve picked up on that. We do focus on KPIs as it’s important in a sales based business, but we like to think people come before a pure emphasis on process. Sorry that wasn’t your experience. One of the things we do to ensure we don’t forget that is to work on a team project share basis. So consultants aren’t working on an individual commission. We think this focuses everyone on working together and that’s different to a lot of competitors. We’re always keen to hear employee feedback so if you would like to get in touch, please feel free to email me; Ingrid, Group HR Director at contact@robertwalters.com.

Pros

Lots of opportunity. Good insight into internal recruitment. Bonus potential. Less pressure than agency side. Exposure to senior stakeholders. Can use client perks.

Cons

Long hours. Not much flexibility around ways of working. Complex processes. Admin. Can't hide from a hiring manager. Things can change quickly as the business looses and gains business.
