One of the worst places to work

Pros

Steady hours and pay check

Cons

Unprofessional, unethical and inappropriate managerial behavior and practices, favoritism, NO room to grow career wise. Constantly eliminating positions, then sometimes asking those same eliminated people to return and then eliminate their position again. Managers have the title but no nothing about leadership. Managers are allowed to be rude to employees and then will terminate the employee for complaining about it. Too much time spent playing bingo, line dancing, eating snacks, or some sort of game playing. Some employees are loud to the point of distracting others from their work. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone to go to work for.

I wouldn't work there again

Pros

Off hand, can't think of any. Wages aren't competitive. Company uses spaghetti metrics for employees.

Cons

Insurance went up every year for 5 years straight. Company fired and rehired every 6 to 12 months. Company restructured every other quarter. Senior Management and above were the only employees to qualify for any type of year bonuses. Company outsourced positions, nationwide, to overseas; releasing employees who'd been there more than 15 years.

sinking ship

Pros

the persistent, never ending talk of optimism and change

Cons

Not enough doing. So top heavy now and out of touch, employees are driven into the ground and end up leaving - so many resignations and churn, just demoralising, especially in the 'core' often referred to as head office/Sydney. Hopeless communication internally, too much disruptive change. HR Dept is thoroughly incompetent.
