Pros

Really competitive salary and Remote

Cons

We are really far away from working in startup where you can express your opinion. Micro management is the rule even at high level. Few opportunities to brainstorm or work in a team. The top management is really cold, the few time they ask something is to discredit your job. There is a culture of distrust everybody. They don't care about employees as shown by the turnover rate. Finally I was surprised how few the company is data driven.

Pros

* Quite high base pay

Cons

* The worst work culture I have experienced or heard of. * Terrible work life balance, you are expected to work long hours to deliver in improbable timelines set by managers. * Absolute lack of planning on the company level - as an individual, you are given a project that naturally requires you to collaborate with others (get their feedback/approval/code review etc). However, everyone else in the company is overworked and do not have time for you (nor were they told in advance they will need to work with you). It is then your job to harass others into sparing their time. * Gaslighting by management - during my exit interview, upper management tried to convince me that the reason for my quitting is not the problems I described about the company, but rather my suboptimal onboarding experience. * Extremely high attrition - naturally, most people do not want to stay here. Management seems happy to continue looking for people that don't mind these work conditions instead of improving anything. * Complete lack of diversity - the company culture is actively hostile to anyone who is interested in life outside of work and doesn't have a stay-at-home partner to support their overly long work hours + stress.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience at Revolut didn’t meet your expectations. We recognise that the fast-paced and ambitious nature of our culture isn’t the right fit for everyone. At Revolut, we strive to do things differently and achieve unprecedented goals, which can sometimes create challenges. However, we never want this to negatively impact our team members' well-being or experience. We’re actively working on improving our processes, to ensure that everyone we hire feels supported and set up for success. Additionally, we’re focusing on enhancing communication and collaboration across teams to address the feedback we receive from our employees. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and wish you the best in your future endeavours.
