Bait and switch

Pros

Work from home. Can make money at first.

Cons

The second you drop off from a high rating, you get terrible leads if any at all. Would sit around all day waiting for a call. The promised all the leads were inbound calls and as soon as production dropped a hair, the calls being patched through were robo-dialed to random people who had no idea why they were on the phone.

Not Worth It

Pros

They’ll reimburse you or pay for your licensing. And they pay for you E&O. They also provide equipment for working.

Cons

Company isn’t very honest with its employees in regards to the job opportunity or lack thereof. Mostly dealing with transferred phone calls from “interested” shoppers who may have been mislead by the advertisement that prompted them to call. You’re given nearly impossible goals and constantly reprimanded for not doing the impossible. A great place to start a career in insurance and a sad place to continue or end that same career. The compensation is abysmal.

Pros

Co workers are great. Charlene Henry is hands down the best manager there!

Cons

Management is terrible! Hardly ever there. No one ever there to help if needed. THEY DONT PAY YOU! Commission checks are never accurate or on time. Some people never got commissions owed to them. They hold 25% of all commissions with the promise that you get it back with 70% effectuation…not true! They tell you your effectuation is lower than 70% but when you investigate, it is actually much higher! Then they tax it by 36%. When all is said and done, you may be owed a total commission of $17,000 and of that you would only get about $9,000. It’s terrible. I hung in there for a while hoping things would change but they never did.
