Pros

Work/life balance. Good benefits. Convenient commute.

Cons

Restrictive work environment. Does not encourage 'out of the box' thinking. Constrictive financial industry regulations filter down to everyday work style.

Pros

Work Life Balance is a pro at first.

Cons

You are recognized for your contributions if you go above and beyond. You are not adequately compensated for those contributions.

Solid company; only getting better

Pros

Executive leadership was focused/clearly communicated the vision; senior leadership was as much of a "team" as can be expected at a company the size of Pru; job advancement; information sharing; access to mass transit; respectful work environment

Cons

Not a Pru-specific issue, but when you work at a large company you can feel like a number; depending on the department, the pace could be a bit s-l-o-w
