      Pros

      Work / Life balance is great! The resources and competetive knowledge are bar none. Management typically has a good handle on the local business and supports both personal and professional development.

      Cons

      Pfizer is a huge titanic of a company that takes forever to affect change. There are so many layers of management that it makes it challenging to get anything substantial accomplished in terms of having a direct impact on the way business is executed.

      Pros

      At La Jolla site there is diversity, very smart co-workers, interesting research and development opportunities, an on-site gym and walking trail, and great San Diego views.

      Cons

      Work-life balance can often be out of whack, teleconferences often occur at wacky hours since the La Jolla site is at the end of the time-zone chain.

      Good pay, great flexibility, great training throughout your career, global recognition of this employer, opportunity to work face to face with customers

      Lots of bureaucracy, not very many opportunities to get promoted particularly if you do not have a lot of tenure, lack of trust in the integrity of the sales data, companies outside of pharma tend not to respect the indirect sales nature of pharma
