      Coronavirus: You know a company truly cares when...

      Pros

      The way the company has dealt with and responded to the Coronavirus outbreak has been incredible . No one saw it coming but you would almost think the management team did 'pandemic drills' to prepare for the worst with how organised, communicative and transparent they have been ! To get all staff members equipped with everything they need to work from home comfortably in 48 hours, to move people and resources from one area of the business to another to cope with demand, to share emails/calls/ tools with all employees on mental wellbeing, tips for working from home, flexibility if you're a parent or you just need it. The list goes on and on and on... I wish governments had done what management have in such a short space of time. The best part of it all is that it's not a gimmick. There's nothing to gain from this but it's done because everyone that works here is seen as a human and management care about you - truly. When we weather this storm and come out of it the other side everyone will remember this and we'll be stronger than ever.

      Cons

      There are the usual growing pains of a start up becoming bigger overnight but you know that people want to solve those issues or lack of process and they include you along the way sometimes so you have a voice where possible.

      Pros

      Such an amazing organisation with a genuine caring culture and values that people actually believe in, not just some boring corporate values. I feel blessed and privileged to work here. They sat us all down in the midst of coronavirus and said they are protecting all of our jobs and salaries because it wouldn't be true to our values otherwise. Unlike many in the travel industry and TMCs who are firing staff, making redundancies or cutting salaries to survive...

      Cons

      Scaling is tough, there's a number of processes that are in their infant and growing stages, but that's expected due to the fast growth. Don't expect everything to be 100% organised and worked out, but that's part of the fun.

      Coronavirus response- Setting an example to other businesses!

      The way the Coronavirus situation has been handled is exceptional! We went from a completely non remote business to a fully remote business in less than 2 days. Lots of advice, communications, initiatives to keep people informed and help those that may be feeling lonely. Daily company wide Q&A’s with Avi over video call. Avi even gave his own personal number out to the entire business to allow people to contact him 24/7 if they need help or simply need to talk to someone. Such a great inclusive culture even remotely! Amazing!
