Pros

Benefits and good systems make PRH a great place to work for folks in publishing. There is a drive for excellence and people are highly committed to their work.

Cons

The benefits are so good that it can be hard for people to leave. One downside: the slow but ongoing layoffs due to the integration of Penguin and Random House.

Pros

Great people, excellent thinkers, company has good benefits and perks, challenging and rewarding, people really care about the industry and books in general, pay is highest out of all the book publishing companies, will love if you like to work faced-paced

Cons

Pay is low compared to other industries, a lot of work and things to keep in line, not for the un-organized
