Best Place I’ve Ever Worked

Pros

The people are what made my personal experience there the best, with the understanding that it’s really dependent on the team. Each group/imprint has its own sub culture that makes all the difference. My team was professional, collegiate, caring, collaborative, opportunities to grow and continue your professional development, good work/life balance in my experience. I made lifelong friends working at PRH, and I still have regrets ever leaving. Also, solid benefits and all the books you can stand to read.

Cons

No job is perfect. It’s no secret that publishing lacks real diversity. PRH has been trying to change this so I give them credit. Also, nobody gets into publishing for the money.

Pros

Great benefits and work-life balance; everyone is friendly!

Cons

Aside from not-so-great compensation, which is pretty standard in the industry, there are no cons.
