Toxic work culture and poor management

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Books and vacation time, coworkers are generally nice when they aren't competing with you. Great place to start for entry-level if you can deal with department drama, little to no room for advancment though

Cons

No work life balance Low pay Being overworked is accepted and expected Incompetence and racism runs rampant in the Talent Acquisition and HR department, so don't bother to complain Diversity hiring is for show, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere

Pros

Great people, higher salary than most publishing houses, free books sometimes, good benefits

Cons

Working for a huge corporation always has its downsides, including making it hard to be promoted at times, slow to respond to trends/change, etc.
