Pros

Largest book publisher, decent employee benefits.

Cons

Large company makes change difficult. Book publishing isn't as lucrative as some other industries.

Pros

Everybody who works for this company is extremely passionate about the industry. The benefits and PTO are also really great.

Cons

Publishing is notoriously a low-paying business. PRH itself is probably among the higher paying publishing houses, but that doesn’t change the industry standard.
