Pros

401k match, other employee discounts, focus on education.

Cons

Too big of a company - Management is too busy to focus on an individual person. You're on your own from day one. Lack of communications between teams and within teams - Have seen developers working on the same story in parallel which ends up in duplicate efforts. Code base is fragile - Instead of fixing the root cause, often time developers apply 'bandaid' fixes. Can't really blame them when you know they're in a crunch mode. Theoretically developers are supposed to write tests but often times they're ignored or don't have time.

Pros

Most of the developers and architects are friendly and very good at what they do. Not much going on in terms of office politics (though there is some). Management is OK.

Cons

Few exciting projects, lot's of very old legacy code, steep domain-specific learning curve. Not a particularly exciting or social atmosphere (speaking for my team anyways). Working space divided in pods, with about 10-12 people per pod.
