Pros

Good people, opportunity to provide education products for learners Work from home Global contacts and colleagues provide insight into how we can do education better in the US

Cons

Clueless Management Constant chaos--you can go for 6 months without knowing who you report to Upper management does not want to hear anything new The millenials are starting to make the decisions--smart but not wise, cliques, without guidance Behind the market in producing new products that will affect sales long term Performing your job is complex just because Pearson is so big Awful open office concept has resulted in many people working from home

Pros

Great job security for six years and good benefits.

Cons

Company is not doing well in North America, little job growth, poor inter-departmental communication. Pay was inadequate compared to industry standard and increase workload/responsibilities was not compensated over time in pay raises. I was laid off in favor of overseas workers that still didn't understand the job.
