Pros

Pay, Benefits & flexible work at home policy

Cons

Mid level and upper management staff is lacking clear direction and strategy. The environment doesn't foster a team environment where people are encouraged to share ideas and talents for improving business problems and overall environment. There were consistent layoffs and no clear direction on how the company was going to meet their goals. Company is struggling financially(as reported in quarterly earning reports) and that is demotivating to staff. Communication from management is often lacking which creates a uneasiness in the day to day work environment. Steer clear from this company if you are looking for growth opportunities and stable environment.

Pros

People are very passionate about what they do

Cons

It's almost too big to get things done. It's such a corporate giant that it's impossible to make decisions without getting approval from 20 different people Management also seems to have forgotten that great employees are what made Pearson such a great company to work for

Run by a souless corporation, constant layoffs

Pros

Great people to work with, flexible work conditions

Cons

Ran by a souless corporation that cares more about stock holders than it's employees. Constant layoffs and restructuring. Poor salaries way below industry standard. Expects current employees to take on multiple roles during layoffs with same pay. Company is in a downward spiral. Senior management treats it's employees like cattle.
