Pros

Decent hours, decent pay, fairly nice environment, open door policy of management, good bonuses, not a very wasteful company, relaxed atmosphere

Cons

little room for input from lower level employees. Little feedback from upper management. Not in an amazing location. Not particularly exciting work.

Pros

The work-life balance is great and I feel better about any challenges that may come up because I know that Pearson would work with me to find the best solution possible.

Cons

Program Management requires on-the-job training that works best if you have a veteran/well-versed employee as a mentor. If you don't have good people to teach you the ropes, you won't do as well.

Pros

products are really meaningful to the public, so there's some reward out of that; analyst positions have really good job security

Cons

on the development side, you really need a phd to really advance
