You'll come for the job, but you'll stay for the people.
Pros
I've worked for 5 sales organizations and Pearson, hands down, is by far the most decent company that I have been associated with. They truly do put the students at the top of the priority list. They care about their employees deeply. It is by no means perfect, but I can the people at Pearson, all the way to the top, are nothing but decent. The CEO not only will not blow you off, he makes it a point to spend time with you at National Meetings. At the last National Meeting, they asked all family members that work for the company to come to the stage: there were over 100 people on stage. I would recommend my friends to work for Pearson.
Cons
During the busiest selling seasons, you will work long hours. The hours are rewarding, but you will work very hard and work long hours. You are rewarded for this work with a bonus if you hit your quota at the end of the year.
