Pros

If you can get into a rhythm, it's not hard to crank out an essay and critique in 2-3 hours. That would net you about $15/hr on average. You can work from anywhere, as long as you have internet access.

Cons

I had a great track record and a lot of my customers gave me the highest feedback ratings possible but one customer disliked my work, complained, and I got a harsh rebuke and wasn't paid for the work I did. I felt that was over the top given my track record adn given that the work I did for that customer was the same as my other highly-rated work.

Pros

The schedule is flexible and project based, good for retired people or stay at home moms who don't want to work year round.

Cons

No background check is required, they take just about anyone who claims they have a college degree to score. There are 2 15minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break, otherwise you work all day in silence and monotony.

Pros

Pearson offers great benefits The work itself is very interesting; very talented colleagues Global business offers valuable experience

Cons

Company has grown way too fast Sr. management is totally out of touch with middle management and line level employees Sr. mgmt focused entirely on making large end-of-year bonuses and in the process and refuse to hire the staff necessary to support the growing business. Employees are working in a sweat-shop environment, with many putting in 12-14 hours days. Qualify has dropped dramatically as staff is pushed to do far more than humanly possible. Morale is rock-bottom. Very much a "good old boys club"
