Pros

Job stability and work-life balance

Cons

No career progression, no management support or backup, Managers would likely blame you for anything wrong, rather than supporting and standing behind their employees. A lot of people who should support you in your function do not really want to do their job. You need to head a lot of this is the way that we have always done it. No innovation or change. No growth opportunities, the company is backwards in terms of advancement and technology.
