Pros

Company is filled with smart, creative people who care about what they do.

Cons

Pearson is a big corporation going through lots of changes. Emphasis on testing has hurt the company's reputation.

Pros

Work from home is available for some roles.

Cons

There's a move by some management to have employees back in the office, which doesn't make much sense when our teams are spread across time zones. I used to commute to an office where none of my team members were in the same state--it was a waste of money and time. I hope the company doesn't return to that model. There is also little to no growth opportunity. Even when you're seeking it, the company is so large, and employee mentoring and end-to-end business exposure is so incredibly limited that it makes moving very difficult.
