Pros

I started my career at Pearson and there were lots of opportunities for advancement internally.

Cons

Salaries (at the time, could be different now) were low in the editorial department; I couldn't help but associate that with a predominantly female workforce. I was young at the time and wish I knew how to self-advocate or had a resource like Glassdoor to help me see my role in context.
