Pros

I was with Sun when acquired management was great and treated me like a human.

Cons

Crazy to have to retake employee training every 2 years even if the training doesn't change. Very large company and the mentality was clear.

Strong Technical team. Good first level Engg mgmt. Reasonable pace of work for most teams. Colloborative interactions with peers are the norm.

Cons

Uncertainity of project survival. No visibility into adjacent groups work status. Awful salaries. Often little no annual salary increases -excuses citing Department budget allocations.
