      Really great company to work for!

      Pros

      Very supportive environment, every day is different, it is fun and challenging and we actually get to be involved in making changes. Every member of staff is encouraged to put forward their own ideas to improve what we do and how we do it.

      Cons

      It is a very challenging and demanding environment, I enjoy this but it can be difficult, the technology is all very new and this can mean there are teething problems. Again being involved in something so innovative is amazing, but it does mean that there isn't always an easy fix, the job involves a lot of quick thinking and thinking outside of the box.

      Pros

      When I first heard about the role I was slightly sceptical as I've never worked from home before. However, Octopus Energy is innovating and refreshing where the norm in this world is 9-5. Octopus are far from the norm, they promote flexible working, whether it's doing less hours or working from home, they support you. The staff from top to bottom all work in sync, whether your a team leader or operations manager, they all get stuck in and lead from the front! Seeing things like that makes you want to push harder for the company. Only been here for about 2 months now and honestly, probably one of the best companies I've been at. They are flexible, they are understanding and they encourage and support you as there is plenty of room for progression. My friends find it hard to believe that I have such a job!

      It be easier to name all the countries in the World!
